He serves as a member of the Low-Carbon Development Professional Committee of the China Regional Economics Association, a member of the Economic Branch of the Chinese Land Science Society, and an editorial board member of Land Economic Research, among other positions. He has long been engaged in teaching and research in resource and environmental economic statistics and big data, specializing in integrating satellite remote sensing technology, machine learning, and spatial analysis methods to study resource economic issues. He has led three National Natural Science Foundation projects, one sub-project of the National Key R&D Program, and several provincial and ministerial-level research projects. His research has been published in academic journals such as Nature, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Resources, Conservation and Recycling, Sustainable Cities and Society, Science of the Total Environment, Chinese Science Bulletin, Acta Ecologica Sinica, and China Land Science, with over 70 first/corresponding-author papers.
