Hu Yangfan is a researcher of the Wenhua Hundred Talents Program and a university-appointed associate professor at Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics. He graduated from Zhejiang University with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology. His main research interests include brain-inspired intelligence, spiking neural networks, computer vision, etc. He focuses on foundational theories and key technologies in brain-inspired software-hardware co-design methods, brain-inspired intelligence theories and application methods, among others. As project principal investigator, he has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and industry-sponsored research. He has published multiple papers in international journals, including TPAMI (a CCF-A journal), TNNLS, and TCDS. He also serves as a reviewer for journals such as IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems and IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems.
